FurDU 2014 dates and venue.

Werestritchy's correct, that was just a temporary page while the site was under construction (and the same was being done for RivFur's rego).

Now the site's been put up recently, it's just the "Register" page once you go to it. I've updated the link above to avoid confusion.

A Very Furry Halloween 2013: Vampires vs Zombies!

Just a note that there have been changes to this event since this was written. Lovely resident dragon Moskintia (and partner Parinath) have dropped in to run it; you may have seen Moski doing the DJ'ing at FurJam if you were in Sydney last month. :) It's still the same weekend, October 25-27 . ie. i...

FurDU 2014 dates and venue.

Standard registration for FurDU 2014 is now online. Now the site's back up, jump onto http://www.furrydownunder.com/ and hit the "Register" link. 80 bucks for the normal ticket (up to March 15th - it'll be $100 after that). Sponsorship will be $80 extra (so $160 total) and as usual, will be done on ...

Confurgence 2014 schedule of events is up.

And normally I'd say "hope to see you guys there", but alas I can't (rather than don't/won't) go, so anyone who is going, have a poke at it, and hope you have a good time :)

Confurgence 2014 schedule of events is up.

Typical disclaimer: I'm not anyone officially AusFanCons, but I'm not sure they bother with Furstralia since they get no response to anything anymore. At least you see this once and not ten times shared like on Facebook. Anyway, the schedule for Confurgence 2014, "Egyptian Nights", got put up tonig...

FurJam In The Future & Why We Can't Be A Convention

As a pure editorial note: This is the thread that Kat is talking about in early 2012; although we lost the actual result when we switched forums, I'm pretty sure it was reasonably favoured towards "stay as is but at least shake it up a little from the last few years", which happened slightly in 2012...

CBRFUR

Just a small heads-up as to the next one of these: CBRFUR 4 is currently scheduled for Fri 21 - Sun 23 February . Yes, that's two and a half days this time; Friday night to Sunday arvo. Early days yet so details are still very scratchy, but a summary of what's been posted on the FB page: Friday nigh...

FurJam 2013 - September 6th, 7th, 8th (EVENT DETAILS + DIREC

Just a bump to say that the web site now has the Sunday night stuff up - the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel . Small note on the transport info: it's probably not 5 minutes away from Central :) - but the tram is available. Pyrmont Bay stop is the closest, but Convention is cheaper (yay zone boundaries) and abo...

Spam Bots?

Usually most of these spambots will bypass the registration form completely and find ways to directly SQL-inject data into the tables. Setting up registration approval might stem the tide but it won't wipe it out completely, as the continued flow of spambots this morning would show. I still recommen...
