Furry Road Trip To Melbourne! Interest?

I can drive a manual... I just need someone with a full license (and a deathwish) sitting next to me.

As in you currently hold a learners or a P plate license?[/quote]

Would have to be learners wouldn't it?

Which means he isn't allowed to drive anyone else around and has a big curfew IIRC.

Though I think the new P plate rules are almost as bad.

Not quite. Red P's just aren't allowed to have more than one (1) passenger who isn't a family member in the car after 11pm. Green P's have no restrictions that I know of, other than actually wearing the plates and only having four points to your name.

Ahhh maybe for us there is slight restrictions like that but we would have to look up NSW and Vic road rules after that.

Queensland licenses can be used anywhere as long as we adhere to other states rules, I might look into this as well just to be on the safe side. No fines are good fines o.o

Yeah, umm... That's because they don't realise that Tasmanians don't have those restrictions. x3

If the restriction is a specific condition placed upon an individual's license by the issuing state, then one must comply with it at all times, regardless of which state one drives in. It's a restriction on the license itself, not a state road rule per se. :)

On another note, in 2008 I organised convoy type thingies from Sydney to Rivfur (Brisvegas) and MiDfur (Melbourne), though we try to take more interesting roads if possible rather than sit on a boring freeway for 10 hours straight. Motorcycle and 2 cars!
