I was wondering how many of you talk or would talk in your fursuits? I know that many people believe that it "ruins the magic" but many of my favourite fursuiters are talkers. I think if I had a fursuit I would definitely have to be one too. What's your opinion?

Ruining the magic to me really means taking off your head in public, especially in front of children. Talking on the other hand, I'm more inclined to do with adults if they initiate. Otherwise, no talking, :P

Basically if I am around other furs, or adults I'll talk but I dont like to around small kids, basically because I wouldnt know what to say. Haha
But yeah I see no problem with talking in suit, I know alot of people frown upon it but meh, if you wanna talk then talk.

I personally don't talk when in the suit unless its an emergancy but hey that's just me. ^.^

i find if your voice gets really muffled by the mask, it ruins the effect. otherwise, up to the person in the suit.

Very true there, staying in character isnt worth risking your health or someone elses even if you have to go so far as taking your head off.

Well I'm getting a fursuit really soon I know but I've always found that fursuiters who don't talk are usually better performers are are heaps more entertaining to be around. There is a real magic to emote and perform without the spoken word, an art which I appreciate and these are the suiters I look up to when I think about getting my own.

When I get my own fursuit I know that I'd probably be one of those non-talking suiters ^^
