Fursuit posing by a diesel locomotive (dialup warning!)

Postby Sebastian » Wed Aug 24, 2011 9:55 pm

(It's been so long since I've had time to visit this forum that I was worried my password would no longer work.)

As well as being a furry, I'm also a gunzel. I think that fursuit posing on and around cars is cool, but when you can do it with a locomotive it's just awesome! The NSWGR 44 class is one of my favorite iron horses. (Before anyone asks, no the train isn't moving - she was completely powered down).

For those who don't remember me (sorry I've been away so long) my fursona for this costume is Michael; a foxaroo, and he always wears a suit. You probably can't make out the animals on the locomotive's nose crest (yes "nose crest" is the correct term I'm told) but if they were to mate you'd have a lionroo or a kangalion.

I also found that holding onto the side of a locomotive is a great way to show off a long tail!

Very cool. Nice shots of you with 4490.

Strange, you are a railfan & a Foxaroo? So am I.

Once I get a suit made (which i hope to have by MIDFUR 2012) I will definitely have to get a few shots like this up here in QLD

Thanks! :)

Strange, you are a railfan & a Foxaroo? So am I.
Sure am. The question is: do we get the love of trains from our fox bloodline, or our 'roo bloodline?

Sebastian is my other fursona, a wallabamelleon; wallaby / chameleon hybrid. He's Michael's older, adopted brother (on the left in my current avatar). He's the naughtier of my characters so I decided to use his name as my login here. ;) They both like trains, although Sebastian is so much in love with himself that it's difficult to notice.

Once I get a suit made (which i hope to have by MIDFUR 2012) I will definitely have to get a few shots like this up here in QLD
Pls show me the photos when you do! Will they be QR locos or trains from preservation societies?

Maybe a combination of both?

To celebrate my own birthday, here's something particularly silly I did back when I took the above photos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYs7wK5T0OA

Make sure to never hug one that's running!

Sure did. That's 4490's home. :)

I drew some funny looks from the volunteers that day, but it was worth the effort for the results.
