My WIP fursuit- Axias the Aussie Shep

Postby Anonomas11 » Thu Nov 19, 2015 6:42 pm

So this is all bout the fursuit I am currently building :)

The character:

Image

This is my dog fursona Axias (ax-e-us). She is an Australian Shepherd with a shy and friendly personality who love meeting new people and making friends :)

The suit so far:
First WIP
Image
This was the rough carving. Just a pure base here. The next stage was to create a proper nose and eyes and fix up the ears and muzzle as it wasn't completely symmetric
WIP 2
Image
Here she has eyes and a nose. Nose was made from air dry clay. The muzzle has had more foam added to it to make it look better
WIP 3
Image
Added eyelashes and teeth and tounge. Eyelashes are gonna be trimmed down as they are WAY too big for my liking. At this stage she also has a moving jaw

WIP 4

Image
All taped up. Markings have been drawn on tape as well as fur direction, and each piece is labeled

WIP 5
Image

Her current form. Am now waiting for swatches to arrive so I can decide on fur. Patterns have also been transferred onto the head so I know how each piece should fit. And she has her hair here, made of yarn. Me thinks she needs a bit of a hair cut XD

Oh and cookies to whoever knows what the other mask next to her is

And that's it for now. Will keep posting updates as I go along. Will also post up videos of the head being made on youtube sometime

Das all for nao

Birdy

Is the other mask Birdy?

Looks like a great start! I can't wait to see the finished product! She's going to be very cute!

Update:

So the fur samples arrived!

Image

In order from left to right they are:

- Monkey fur palomino
- Luxury shag caramel
- Luxury shag white (the curly one)
- Luxury shag baby blue

They are all the right color I need but I think I prefer the caramel to the palomino. So next up is to finish all the patterns and order my fur!
