If I met a real anthro, and it was similar to my fursona and persona, I believe we'd be great friends. It would be a truly amazing experience. I haven't given it much thought, but I will.

Besides, we see anthro creatures all the time in the news.
Isn't John howard a monkey ?

^_^[/quote]No, that’s Bob Carr:

(This is why I wish we could reduce the size of images when displaying on the forum)

If I met my own fursonas
.. Sebastian
He’d think it was a big laugh and then ask me if I could improve him or his life, starting with an enlargement if you catch my drift. (He’s a marsupial; they’re somewhat small in that region).

.. Michael
I’ve often thought of this. He’d demand to know why I’ve made his life so miserable and unlucky just to amuse myself. I’d be pointing out to him that his life is largely a mirror of my own but I’ve actually made him more resilient than myself, and given him good friends and better parents than mine.

If I met a sociable anthro creature
I’d approach them like I would a human. “Hello, how do you do? Can I help you?” Etc. If she’s an attractive female anthro herbivore I’d try to get her contact details (sorry, I don’t date carnivores).

If I met a feral anthro creature
I’d get the phone camera out and take a few pics, but I’d be ready to run at the first sign of hostility

The resemblance is uncanny.

As for me, if it was nice I'd try to befriend it and get to know about it and treat it like a human being. If not, I'd give it some space but take pictures, of course! For science...!

I'd ask if I could get a couple of photographs, an email or a phone number, or all three.

The photographs because I can then reference for art, the email so I can tell that they're not alien, and a phone number to talk to them.

I'd no doubt freak out, adjust my belt and say hi. Also I'd ask if they need hiding - you know, from scientists wanting to dissect them or anything. Also later, presumably over a cup of tea with bikkit, I'd ask how they came to be, were they created in a lab or are there some IRL furrylands or somesuch. Then once I'd stopped shaking with excitement I might ask if they'd mind if I drew them.

I would probably be unnerved but I would be able to calmly make my way to the nearest hospital to say I had been having hallucinations.. again.
