I found the furry fandom through the Housepets forums. At first I thought "furry" was something gross but then once I actually started talking to furries and once I realised what being furry was really about I realised I'd always been furry so I started identifying as such.

I found the fandom through the Internet (scary right). Well I grew up watching cartoons with Anthro characters and I always preferred them to the human ones, so 2 or so years ago I started to search for webcomics with them and I stumbled upon a picture if the Housepets comic "Housepets are gonna sniff everybody". But I ended upon reading it after two other comics. I read Housepets before adventualy joining the forum and slowly learning of the wonderful community.
