Flagging/Reporting Spammy users

Is there any way to Report Spam-bot users?

Its easy enough to flag Posts/Discussions and their comments, but the 'twitter' like comments in the "Activity" section of users profiles seems to unflaggable ie: this user: http://furstralia.com/home/#/profile/ac ... /fostertra

It's unfortunate since it's links Clogs up the main "Activity" tab at http://furstralia.com/home/#/activity which would be a veru useful way of keeping track of new discussions and such that have popped up!

Thats just one part of 20 just done by one bot.
Also there is a spam topic that still hasn't been removed after being reported by multiple users~!

*post edit it is now taken down. Thank you. :3

We were spammed big time last night. I've sampled a few sentences through Google translate and they're blatant spam. I'm flagging them now.

I helped flag them all too, but there is nothing you can really do besides, flag it, send a mod a message about it, bump another topic and just ignore it really.

But i wouldn't freak out to much as it's just one bot right now.

Polscy spamerzy zrobić mój zawrót głowy. Proszę może osoba, pracownicy administracji usunąć.
:(

(well I think it's Polish anyway...)

There was a security patch posted on the Vanilla site back in April that might be related to this (details: http://www.cvedetails.com/cve/CVE-2013-3527/, http://vanillaforums.org/discussion/233 ... a-2-0-18-7, note the patch is now 2.0.18.8 despite URL).

Yeah I flagged them too, on the day they arrived. Yes they're Polish, I used Google translate to find out that they're spam adverts for finance.

Just a reminder, if there are spammers or bots, please flag and leave alone. If we keep the other posts active, the spammy ones will get shoved to the back, and will remain unseen. This also makes sure that when the admins do have time to do general maintenence, it can be done quicker.

Cheers from the goat.

Hahahaa, Yeah right, i and others tried flagging one post for months and it did not get noticed by the mods untill after making another thread complaining about it. Sorry but sometimes the reporting system doesn't work.

All you can do is flag and pray to one of many, many gods that a mod might log in and see it. But i shall bump some other non spam posts up. :3
