OSU!

I was just wondering if anyone else plays Osu.

For those who have no idea of what it is, Osu (pronounced "oss") is a rhythm game played using the mouse, or a tablet, or whatever other pointing device you might have, by clicking the circles that appear on the screen in time with the music. The game can be downloaded at the link above and comes with the tutorial song/beatmap, and other songs/song packs can be downloaded there as well, and are all user made content. If you're going to start playing, I'd recommend making an account, which will keep track of your score, level, acuracy, rank, etc and you can also add friends who have accounts through the site and chat with them in-game.

edit: for those who make an account and want to add me, I'm "MedrashDragon" it won't notify you if someone adds you and vice-versa, so you might want to send an email/PM too

I played Ouendan and Elite Beat Agents on DS, but I haven't tried this one.

Well, it was based around Ouendan, just for the computer instead. Some of the songs even have storyboarding, Queen - Don't Stop Me Now and Renard - You Goddamn Fish are good examples, but since it's all user-generated, most songs just have a background video or image.

You get used to it rather quickly, you might want to try on songs with lower star ratings (stars = difficulty) and work your way up. A good quality mouse and mouse pad will work wonders too (if you don't already have these), and you can configure the sensitivity in the options menu if the mouse is moving too slow or too fast.
